It is only May of 2009, and already the political wheels are rolling. In the great state of Oklahoma, we have already started our gubernatorial race. We also have many candidates for the US House of Representatives Districts 2, 4, and 5 that I know of.
First, we have the gubernatorial race. On the Republican side there are two declared candidates at this time. Representative Mary Fallin and State Senator Randy Brogdon decided to jump early so as to get a head start on fundrasing. Visit their websites for more info and to volunteer and contribute.

In US HoR district 2, there are at least nine different people interested in running according to the Oklahoma GOP. In district 4 there is incumbent Tom Cole and challenger RJ Harris.
District 5 will be an open seat since Rep. Mary Fallin is running for governor. I expect a lively primary and general election in both the 2nd and 5th districts.
